Do you wish to make everyone,
Moral, just and true?
For them all to see the rightness of your worldview?
You will never succeed.
The only one you can so control,
Is yourself.
Musings on an uncertain future.

Yes, it is an amoral world. So, is it better to have no moral code, or change it as needed to make life easy?

All people seem to have a moral view, are they all fundamentally flawed?

To your second question first:-
Are you speaking of the many and varied moral views that people take, or people’s attempts to live up to them?
Either way, I’d say that the answer’s probably yes, because I’ve yet to encounter a perfect moral system.
To take a stab at your first question, which is a very good one, btw:-
I’m not really sure it’s possible to have no moral code. We’re all products of society, after all, and tend to absorb our morality from that and our experiences within it. We might choose to disregard it or subvert it for our own interests, and a lot of people might never seek to articulate their morality or explore its implications, but I don’t think I’ve met anyone who didn’t have a moral view of some kind.
Is it better to change your moral code to make life easy? The thing is that our moral codes do change over life as we gain experience and maturity, learning more and more about the complexities of the world around us. Not quite what you asked, I know, but I think that a better question might be to look at how easily we change our morality for the sake of expedience.

BTW: I wasn’t really saying that it’s an amoral world, but rather that we often attempt to project and force our personal morality/religion onto others to an unhealthy and counter-productive extent through government and established religions rather than trying our best to live according to what we believe.
